Conceived in 1975, Demelco Electric, an acronym for Demers Electric Company, became a reality in 1980in the midst of an oil-boom. Founded by Gerry Demers Sr, Demelco Electric is now a multi-generational company. Demelco is a respected company that has since carved out its niche in the Alberta construction industry through its core principles of professional wiring, rigorous safety regulations, and relationship building.  Demelco specializes in retail petroleum such as Retail Service Stations, Car Washes, Bulk Fueling plants and Cardlocks.

We also do light industrial, commercial and institutional work such as office buildings, EV’s (Electric Vehicle Chargers), research labs, restaurants, warehouses, food stores, strip malls, small medical facilities, interior renovations and all associated maintenance work.

Demelco has never held up a project and takes pride in producing quality work.
